Antibiotics
José Luis García

Mommy, what are those drops you put in my ears when they hurt so much?
Earache is common, especially in children, and is most often caused by a bacterial infection called otitis. If not treated properly, such infections can lead to serious complications. To combat bacteria, we use antibiotics—substances that target microbes without harming our own cells. Antibiotics help when the immune system is not enough and are widely used not only in human medicine but also in animals, plants, and even for non-therapeutic purposes like food preservation.
